About the event

Our “Intro to Long Range Hunting” course is designed to build the foundation of long-range marksmanship and give you the confidence on your next hunt. This course will take you from confirming zero on your rifle to hitting steel at 1000 yards by the end of the day. This class is shot from the prone (laying down) position and students should be physically capable of safely getting up and down from that position.

Although this class is hunting oriented, it is not limited to only hunting rifles or those who hunt. The fundamentals of marksmanship, reading wind, and building a data (D.O.P.E.) chart apply to all who want to attend. The context geared towards hunters is driven around our firearms safety and handling, field expedient wind calls, and acceptable margin of error.
