Long Range Shooting School (LRSS) is a company that operates by filling class spots and has many costs associated prior to class (IE: Venue fees, food, shirts ETC). These operating costs are directly related to the trust given to those signing up for class and the adherence to the policies stated below.

By signing up and submitting a non-refundable deposit for a class date, you are expected to have checked your schedule and to make a plan to attend class. We understand that unexpected obligations do arise and will make every effort to accommodate you as long as you give us the time to do so. Though non-refundable, the deposit is transferable in the event that obligations do come up. Contact must be made two weeks prior to class, allowing us to attempt to fill your spot and upon doing so we can move your deposit to another class date. If contact is made less than two weeks out from class, we do appreciate the heads up, but the deposit will unfortunately be forfeit.

No call, no show: If you have not made contact prior to class that you will not be able to make it, your deposit will be forfeited, and an outstanding balance will be placed against your name. To attend any classes in the future the outstanding balance would need to be paid prior to any additional class deposits being made.

Late for class: Although we ask students to be on the range at 8:30am, class does not start until 9am which gives ample time for wrong turns and red lights. However, once we have started our safety and medical brief that is the cut off for being able to attend class as a live fire student. You are more than welcome to stay as an observer, but we have a tight timeline and will not be able to go back and recover the material. Class deposit will be forfeit and if you still want to stay for the remainder of the class full payment will be due.

Students will be present for the safety brief which will include the stated below firearms safety rules which will be adhered to at all times. Context will be given regarding bolt action rifles and how it relates not only on the range, but also in the field on a hunt. Any and all safety violations will be immediately addressed by the cadre and removal of the mentioned party will be handled at the cadre’s discretion.

The 4 Life-Rules of Responsible Gun Handling are: (www.trainmdfi.com)

1.I WILL TREAT ALL FIREARMS AS IF THEY ARE LOADED

2.I WILL NOT POINT MY FIREARM AT ANYTHING I AM NOT WILLING TO DESTROY

3.I WILL KEEP MY FINGER OFF THE TRIGGER AND OUTSIDE THE TRIGGER GUARD UNTIL I AM READY TO FIRE

4.I WILL KNOW MY TARGET, ITS BACKGROUND AND ITS FOREGROUND

Class cancelation on behalf of LRSSIn the event that class must be canceled due to unforeseen and/or un-negotiable reasons such as host/range issues, catastrophic weather, or cadre emergencies we will make every effort to notify students as soon as possible as we value your time and your safety. Deposits will be transferred to a class of your choosing which do not expire.
